Educational Value of Animoto

Students ...check out this Animoto I made! What do you think? I'm going to ask you some questions about it in class next week. Now you can give it a try.  Use your rubric to be sure that you know how you will be assessed on for this project (some of the criteria is listed below) Use all those skills you use in art class to make a well thought out composition, but this time on video!  The amazing Animoto will ask you to choose a style.  Remember to choose a style that goes along with your topic.  Then its time to incorporate some music, what type of mood will you set?  Then comes adding the pictures.  Make sure they go with your topic and are appropriate for all of us to view. After adding your pictures you can manipulate their order.  What sequence makes the most sense for what you are trying to share?  You can add text screens or just add captions to your pictures.  Can your pictures tell the story or do you need words to explain your ideas further?

Student can assign video a title.
Student can create a video with a clear message.
Student can create a cohesive video.
Student will consider their audience.
Student can write text with little spelling errors.
